An epic poem, the “Iliad” by Homer, a poet from Ancient Greece, was translated into two languages, namely Greek and Latin, and vividly illuminated in 15th-century Italy to produce this manuscript. During this period, Greek literature became popular and it led to the Humanism Movement.
