- Day 20 from Kyushu to Yamaguchi prefecture, the largest karst plateau in Japan.
Nathan from America continues on his trip by HONDA "Super Cub". He's passed through Moji which is located at the most northern part of Kyushu, crossed the Kanmon Straits which connects Honshu and Kyushu, and passing through the largest karst plateau in Japan, "Akiyoshidai".

After traveling for 200km from Yamaguchi to Hiroshima, Nathan arrives at Yamamoto-san's where he'll be spending the next 3 days in Akitakata city, Hiroshima prefecture. He's welcomed with a hand-made welcome sign put up along the road, he couldn't help but laugh!

What is their relationship? Nathan was eating ramen alone when Yamamoto-san came to talk to him. They hit it off after getting a few drinks together and promised to meet again in Hiroshima.

With Yamamoto-san's introduction Nathan visits the Akitakata City Museum of Local History. Akitakata city is where Motonari Mori the military commander was born. Nathan wears Kacchu to feel the history and try Shinken Shirahadori but the imitation sword hits the head by mistake...

Nathan visits "Kagura Monzen Toujimura" next and happens to meet with the mayor of Akitakata city who was there on official business. So surprised at Yamamoto-san's connections!

Nathan visits "Takamiya Yunomori" next. The town is famous for sake and they pour 1.8 liter of special sake into their "Sake Bath" every morning. He enjoys the sake flavored local bath.

The other person Takemoto-san who Nathan had drinks with in Kyoto also joins and the party starts with a gorgeous sashimi plate and Yamamoto's special oden. Thanks to both Nathan is happy experiencing the feel of Japanese home.
Day 25 & 26 Hiroshima, a sad good-bye.
The last morning… 3 days went so quickly. Yamamoto family doesn't seem to be ready to say good-bye yet but they walk Nathan out. And the new chapter of his trip to begin! Stay tuned!!
