Traveling eastern Japan with Honda Super Cub, Part#1
- His next destination is eastern Japan!
An American traveler Nathan (a.k.a. Mr. Cub) who travelled around western Japan for 3,200 km with his rental Super Cub has a new destination, eastern Japan! His new partner is an another Super Cub which has lost its owner, Morinaga-san's grand father. Morinaga-san is a fan of the show and he gave the Super Cub to his grand father as a gift more than 20 years ago.
- About 3,000km in 3 weeks, from Tokyo to Hokkaido (Soya misaki) to Aomori.
Nathan received the Super Cub from Morinaga-san at the studio at TV Tokyo. He was a bit shy in the beginning but soon gave us a happy face having received his new partner! It will be a long journey for about 3,000km from Tokyo to Hokkaido (Soya misaki) to Aomori in 3 weeks. He's set the goal to arrive in Aomori just in time for the cherry blossom season.

Nathan stays at a hotel to rest on his first day and is all ready to start his journey but the engine won't start… He keeps trying and finally gets it running after 10 minutes. The motorcycle was well maintained before given to him but after all it's over 20 years old, seems to have an issue starting the engine.

The very first destination is the Jungu Stadium! Nathan is a huge fun of baseball and he wants to check out Japanese baseball games. Though he seems to be more interested in the powerful supporters rather than the game itself that he keeps taking pictures of them instead.

Nathan then visits Tokyo Dome, the home of Yomiuri Giants and is all ready with his new Giants cap! The games between Yomiuri Giants and Hanshin Tigers are known as legendary games and very popular among Japanese fans. He seems to have enjoyed the night taking photos with Tigers fans.

The following day Nathan drives to Saitama to visit Seibu Prince Dome to watch the game between Seibu Lions and Nippon-Ham Fighters. Again, he purchases the cap! He seems to really love baseball.

Nathan drives for 150km and arrives in Tochigi prefecture to visit the Honda Collection Hall where about 350 Honda cars and motorcycles are displayed. He's so thrilled checking out the restored machines such as the predecessor of the Super Cub.

Nathan received a special permission from Honda's spokesperson to drive the race track of Twin Ring Motegi where even a world championship is held! He seems to be so excited driving his Super Cub on a professional race track.
